1. Anti Drugs Strikers F.C.

Anti Drugs Strikers F.C. is a professional Sierra Leone football club in Newton, Sierra Leone. The Club was established in 1993. They compete in the Sierra Leone National Premier League, the country's highest football competition.


The Anti Drugs Strikers play their home games at the 1000-capacity EBK Stadium in Newton, Sierra Leone.

2. Bai Bureh Warriors of Port Loko

The Bai Bureh Warriors of Port Loko, also known as the Bai Bureh Warriors, are a Sierra Leonean professional football (soccer) team based in Port Loko, Port Loko District, Sierra Leone.


The Club competes in the Sierra Leone National First Division, the country's second-highest football division. Bai Bureh Warriors were in the Sierra Leone National Premier League for several years before being demoted to the second level in 2005.

Bai Bureh, a legendary Sierra Leonean warrior and military strategist who led the Temne Rebellion against the British in 1898, inspired the Club's name.

Bai Bureh Warriors won the Sierra Leonean F.A. Cup Cup in 1978 and 1982, while their finest Caf achievement came in 1979 when they reached the second round of the CAF Cup Winners' Cup.

3. Bo Rangers Football Club

Bo Rangers Football Club, or simply Bo Rangers, is a Sierra Leonean professional football team headquartered in Bo, the country's second-largest city. They are now a member of the Sierra Leone National Premier League, the highest division of Sierra Leone's football league, established in 1954. 

Bo Rangers and Nepean Stars are fierce rivals in the city. Most of the Club's followers are from the Bo District—the club practices at Bo Stadium, which seats 10,000 people.

4. Central Parade

Central Parade, originally Cenegal FC, is a Sierra Leonean football club based in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and a member of the Sierra Leone National Premier League, the country's highest football league. Noel Kitami Horton is the Sports Director, and the Club is known as Seidya Boys. It was founded in 2006, 17 years ago.

The Diamond Stars Football Club is a Sierra Leonean professional football team founded in 1954 in Koidu Town, Kono District. The group represents the diamond-rich Kono District and is a member of Sierra Leone's highest football division, the Sierra Leone National Premier League. ZAPA, a Class A coach, leads the Club.

5. The Diamond Stars

The Diamond Stars earned their name from the abundant diamond riches in the Kono district, where the Club is headquartered. As a result, Diamond Stars has one of the largest fan bases among Sierra Leonean football clubs, with most of its supporters hailing from the Kono District. 

The Club is now owned by the KonoDistrict Stakeholders. However, it was initially sponsored by the diamond mining business Koidu Holdings as part of its corporate social responsibility. Nevertheless, in 2014, the business stopped supporting the Club.

The Diamond Stars are the current Premier League winners for the 2012 and 2013 seasons and the first Club outside Freetown to do so.

6. The East End Lions

East End Lions is a professional football team headquartered in Freetown, Sierra Leone. They compete in the Sierra Leone National Premier League, the country's highest football competition. The East End Lions represent Freetown's East End and play home games at the National Stadium. John Keister was named head coach in 2018.

East End Lions are one of Sierra Leone's two most potent and successful football clubs (along with their main rivalry Mighty Blackpool). The Club was founded in 1928 and is one of Sierra Leone's oldest football clubs.

7. FC Johansen

FC Johansen is a Sierra Leone football team headquartered in Freetown that was created in 2004. Isha Johansen and her Norwegian husband, Arne Birger Johansen, operate the Club.


The Club began to offer hope to young people by directing their energy into a positive and healthy path through sport. CONPROLOG Limited is co-owned by billionaires. FC Johansen did not compete in the Sierra Leone league in 2010. However, they debuted in Sierra Leone's Division One league in 2011. 

They won every game that year and were promoted to the Premier League.

8. Manchester City F.C.

Manchester City F.C. (Sierra Leone), also known as Manchester City (Salone) in their home country, is a Sierra Leonean football club headquartered in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and is currently a member of the Sierra Leone National First Division, the country's second highest football league.

The Club was founded in 2004 as an outgrowth of the local Manchester City F.C. supporters club, the world's largest non-UK-based Manchester City supporters club in 2009. Formerly not self-sufficient, the Club now sustains itself by renting out the team minibus, donated by Manchester City (U.K.) supporters, as a taxi/coach service.

However, all kit is supplied by other Manchester City (U.K.) supporters groups and the English Club itself.

9. Freetown City F.C.

Freetown City Football Club, formerly Freetown United, is a Sierra Leonean football team headquartered in Freetown. The Club competes in the Sierra Leone National First Division, the country's second-highest football division. 

During the 1960s and 1970s, Freetown United was one of Sierra Leone's most prominent football clubs. The club trains in the 30,000-capacity National Stadium.

10. Golden Dragon Football Club

The Golden Dragon Football Club of Magburaka, also known as "Golden Dragon," is a professional football team from Sierra Leone with its home field in Magburaka. After being promoted from the Nationwide First Division, the second-highest football league in the nation, they now compete in the Sierra Leone National Premier League, the top football league in the country.

Golden Dragon was demoted to the Sierra Leone National First Division after the 2009–10 season.
