Mekelle 70 Enderta FC Academy

Ethiopian football club Mekelle 70 Enderta FC is situated in Mekelle and was established in 2007. They compete in the Ethiopian Premier League, the top league of Ethiopian football, and are members of the Ethiopian Football Federation. 

Following the conclusion of the 2016–17 campaign, the team received its first promotion to the Ethiopian Premier League. Mekelle 70 Enderta won the Ethiopian Premier League in the 2018–19 season; they also represented Ethiopia in the 2019 CAF Champions League, where they were eliminated in the opening round.

The club is currently ranked among the top teams in the 2019–2020 Ethiopian Premier League. After the 2016–2017 season, Mekelle 70 Enderta placed second (60 points) in the Ethiopian Higher League Group A. 

They qualified for the Ethiopian Premier League after defeating Hadiya Hossana, who placed second in the Ethiopian Higher League Group, in a one-game playoff. The club had never before been promoted to the top league. 

Hawassa City FC Academy

The professional Ethiopian basketball and football team Hawassa City Sports Club, known as Hawassa Kenema, is in Hawassa. The Ethiopian Premier League, the top level of Ethiopian football, is where the football team competes.

 

After defeating Lideta Nyala SC to win the title in 2003–04, Hawassa won the Ethiopian Cup the following year. Zelalem Shiferaw currently manages the team. In the 2006–2007 season, the team won its second Premier League championship.

Ethiopia's Jimma Aba Jifar Football Club is a professional football team. They compete in the second tier of Ethiopian football, the Ethiopian Higher League. After the conclusion of the 2016–17 campaign, the team, formerly known as Jimma City, was elevated to the Ethiopian Premier League for the first time.

 The group was established in 1983. The club earned a promotion to the 2017/18 Ethiopian Premier League after finishing first in Group B of the Ethiopian Higher League (second division) following the 2016–17 campaign. 

Since then, the team has added several famous foreign players, notably Ghanaian goalkeeper Daniel Agyei and Nigerian striker Okiki Afolabi. The team won the Ethiopian Premier League championship in 2017–18. However, Gebremedin Haile, their manager, left the group shortly after the 2017–18 campaign to join Mekelle City F.C. of the Premier League.

  

Dire Dawa City F.C. Academy

A professional Ethiopian football team with its home base in Dire Dawa is the Dire Dawa City Sports Club, also known as Dire Dawa Kenema. They compete in the Ethiopian Premier League, the top level of Ethiopian football.

The club was still active when Dire Dawa Kenema was established in 1982 (1975 E.C.). In 2003 (1996 E.C.), the club was revived to redeem Dire Dawa's illustrious past in Ethiopian football. The team participated in a local league  (then considered the third tier of Ethiopian football) in the following season (2004-2005).


The team debuted in the Ethiopian National League, the second tier of Ethiopian football, in the 2005–06 season. (now called the Ethiopian Higher League). Finally, the club debuted in the Ethiopian Premier League during the 2007–08 season.

 

Fasil City F.C. Academy

The professional football team from Ethiopia named Fasil Kenema Sports Club, popularly known as Fasil City, is in Gondar, in the Amhara Region. They compete in Ethiopia's highest football league, the Ethiopian Premier League.

One of Ethiopia's earliest professional sports teams is Fasil Kenema. Fasil Kenema was the first and only sports club in Gondar for many years after being founded in 1968 (1960 E.C.). The club is named for Fasilides, an Ethiopian emperor who governed from Gondar, once Ethiopia's capital, in the 17th century.

Ethiopian professional football club Adama City Football Club is situated in Adama. The club participates in the top flight of Ethiopian football, the Ethiopian Premier League. The group was established in 1991. (1983 E.C.).Late in the 2017–18 Ethiopian Premier League season, Adama City temporarily held the top spot before ultimately finishing fifth.

On August 4, 2018, the club recruited Dawit Tadesse as an assistant coach and Sisay Abraham as manager. The team appointed Zeray Mulu as a manager in February 2021.

 

Abebe Bikila Stadium (Adama), the second stadium in the nation to bear the Olympian marathon champion Abebe Bikila's name, serves as the club's home field.

 

Bahir Dar City FC Academy

Bahir Dar Kenema was founded in Bahir Dar in 1973 EC.In the 2017–18 season, Bahir Dar had a strong run of play and entered the 14th week of the Ethiopian Higher League's Group A standings with 31 points.

After defeating Ethiopian Insurance F.C. on July 29, 2018, the team was promoted to the Ethiopian Premier League for the first time. With three games remaining in their 2017–18 season, the victory guaranteed them the top spot in group A of the Ethiopian Higher League (second tier), earning their place in the top league the following year.

Ethiopian Coffee F.C. Academy

Ethiopian Buna, also known as Ethiopian Coffee Sport Club, is a professional Ethiopian football team with its home base in Addis Ababa. They compete in the Ethiopian Premier League, the top league of Ethiopian football, and are members of the Ethiopian Football Federation. Addis Ababa Stadium serves as their home field. 

It has one of the biggest fan bases in Ethiopia, with rival Saint George. Ethiopian Coffee Sport Club was founded in 1976 due to the decision to form a football team with the staff of Kefa Coffee Processing. The club was registered as Coffee Board Sports Club on the kebele level after amassing the necessary number of participants to participate in professional competitions. 

The team after that began competing in Ethiopian football's third division, the AEWA Factory Workers Association level. The club provided its players with jobs at the factory as an incentive to stay with the team. 

The Kefa factory workers primarily funded it at the time. As a result, players would work the morning shift at the factory to play football in the evenings. As a result, the club's initial official name was "Yenegat Kokebe" (Morning Star), a reference to the early-rising factory workers who also played part-time football.

Wolaita Dicha FC Academy

Wolaita Dicha Sports Club is a professional football team in Sodo, Ethiopia. They compete in Ethiopia's highest football league, the Ethiopian Premier League. The Wolaitta Development Association founded the club in 2009. After multiple promotions, they finally made it to the first flight in the 2013–14 season.

 The team has succeeded in the top flight, staying up all four of the previous seasons. The team had its most successful Ethiopian Cup run during the 2016–2017 campaign, taking home the trophy for the first time in its brief history. In November 2017, Zenebe Fisseha, the current coach, was brought on board.

 

Sidama Bunna FC Academy

The professional football club Sidama Coffee Sport Club, known as Dara Kenema, is in Ethiopia's Sidama Municipality. The club competes in the top flight of Ethiopian football, the Ethiopian Premier League.

 

As Dara Kenema, Sidama Coffee Soccer Club was established on August 27, 2006 (1999 E.C.). In the South regional championships in 2006, one of three clubs represented the Formerly Sidama Zone. 

Dara Kenema then advanced to the Ethiopian regional finals held in Hawassa that same year. Dara Kenema placed in the top four of this competition and, as a result, was promoted to Ethiopian football's Higher League, the second tier. Because the squad was the sole representative of Sidama in the second division, the name Dara Kenama was changed to Sidama Coffee.
