In a glittering career spanning more than 40 years, few artists have attained Cummings's level of popularity and critical acclaim, according to a Prairieland Park news release.
According to the press release, Burton Cummings "has amassed more hit records than any other Canadian performer in history, whether as a lead singer and songwriter with the Guess Who or on his own."
Cummings received a fair number of honors during his career. He has been inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Canadian Walk of Fame, the Prairie Music Hall of Fame, and the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame.

He has also received numerous honors, including the Governor-General's Performance Arts Award, 22 SOCAN Awards, the Order of Canada, Manitoba, and six Juno Awards.
From August 8 to August 13, The Saskatoon Ex will be held. The statement stated that the cost of public admission to the grounds includes the shows. In addition, the Grandstand Superfan section, First-In Rush Seating, or Suite Experience Box Seating are available as upgrades for spectators.
