West's account was suspended seven months ago for breaking the platform's rules prohibiting incitement to violence.

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has had his account returned by social networking site X after it was suspended over eight months ago for breaking the platform's policies against inciting violence.
Ye's last tweet on platform X, the new moniker owner Elon Musk has given Twitter, was published on December 1, a day before his account was suspended.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, citing X, that Ye won't be able to monetize his account there and that ads won't show up next to his posts.
Just two months after being reactivated, Ye's account was suspended in December because one of his postings looked to portray a Nazi symbol enclosed in a Star of David.
West's post was referred to as an "incitement to violence" by Musk at the time.
X restored Ye's account after it was assured that he wouldn't use the website to post offensive or anti-Semitic material, the article added, citing a source familiar with the situation.
Ye is yet to publish any new content since returning to the platform.
The wealthy owner of X, who describes himself as a free speech absolutist, had hailed the rapper's return to the platform in October when his account was reinstated for the first time.
Musk earlier resurrected former US President Donald Trump's account following a survey of 14.8 million Twitter users, with 51.8 percent voting in favor of the reinstatement. On the other hand, Trump has stated that he has no plans to return to Twitter and would instead focus on his new platform, Truth Social.
Ye's anti-Semitic rants last year cost him a lot of business. Adidas ended their nearly decade-long collaboration with him, ditching his Yeezy-branded footwear.
In May, the German firm announced that the end of its highly successful relationship with West had reduced revenues by 400 million euros ($441 million) in the year's first quarter.
Gap and Balenciaga also dropped the rapper and designer.
