The Egyptian Foreign Ministry is still following up on the evacuation of Egyptians from Sudan.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the crisis room continues to receive calls from residents around the clock via these select call numbers:

The Foreign Ministry has selected certain gathering places for the potential evacuees as part of its continuing evacuation strategy for Egyptian nationals from Sudan.

On Thursday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry's statement says that Egypt has expanded its efforts as part of the continuing airlift operation to transport Egyptian residents out of Sudan, evacuating over 16,000 people, including Egyptians and people from other countries.
The Egyptian Armed Forces organized nine flights on Thursday, for a total of 23 flights. As a result, 443 Egyptians were evacuated by land and 697 by air.
According to the figures provided, 1,140 (one thousand, one hundred and forty) Egyptian people were evacuated.

Furthermore, more than 1,000 Egyptian citizens in Sudan are anticipated to be evacuated during the continuing air evacuations. The Armed Forces have provided food and first aid supplies.
The Egyptian consulates in Wadi Halfa and Port Sudan, as well as those in Khartoum, will continue their efforts to evacuate Egyptian nationals, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid stated, saying that a total of 2,679 Egyptian residents had already been evacuated from Sudan.
Egypt has been and is still advocating for the consolidation of a ceasefire in Sudan and the termination of hostilities. This has happened since battles between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) began last week.
Egypt has also called for peaceful negotiations between the two conflicting sides as a means of putting an end to the bloodshed.
