Though many teams may be considering a trade for LaVine, he may not be a good financial bet for some teams, Preliminary consideration points to Miami, as the most suitable team to acquire him.
Shams Charania first reported the news to The Athletic as LaVine and the Chicago Bulls appeared ready and willing to make a deal.

LaVine, a multiple All-Star at 28, averages 21, a team record. LaVine is in the second season of a five-year, $215 million contract (with a player option in 2026-2027 and a 15 percent trade Bonus). LaVine and the Chicago Bulls are more “open” to trade possibilities.
Shams Charania of The Athletic added that NBA teams are “evaluating the availability” of the veteran guard.
NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark reported Tuesday that the 76ers would “consider” acquiring LaVine, but the franchise is
happy with the way the team is currently playing and will likely wait until the trade deadline to make one.

Charania reports that teams from across the league have contacted the Bulls regarding LaVine’s availability and the two-time All-Star is open to playing elsewhere.
Whether the Warriors or another team pays for LaVine will require a reasonable salary, as the Bulls point guard is making more than $40 million this year.
His contract, which includes a player option for the final year, is worth $9 million. In addition to LaVine’s availability, Charania also reports that DeMar DeRozan’s future in Chicago is unknown.
