According to statements made to the media by Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady upon his arrival late on Tuesday, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will begin his trip to the United States with a brunch with Republican Senators from Kentucky, Texas, Ohio, and South Carolina.

According to Rady, the president will meet on Wednesday with the "Friends of Egypt Group," which comprises Democrats and Republicans in Congress.
President Sisi will speak with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken before attending the dinner that US President Joe Biden is hosting for African leaders who have been invited to the US-Africa Summit.
During the summit, the Egyptian president intends to emphasize enhancing the continent's cooperation with the United States to achieve food security and facilitate the integration of African nations into the global economy.
This is because, with such integration, the continent will experience economic growth, better entice international investment, and profit from the technological transfer.
The president will also be present for President Biden's attendance at the U.S.-Africa Business Forum's concluding session.
