Mr. Melanie and his team invite Seychellois of all ages to participate in the race and contribute. "The run for a worthy cause began in 2019 and finished in 2022. It now falls under the Runners for Charity Seychelles organization, which I founded to handle related activities.

This activity was always in my plan. Many of us will be able to celebrate the holidays without any problems. Still, many won't be able to do so. To encourage more people to attend and participate, Mr. Melanie said that the runners would be at the Roche Caiman fitness trail this time.

People can run or walk depending on their fitness level, so please come out and enjoy yourself with your family. Please don't hesitate to contribute so we can cheer up some other families, Mr. Melanie pleaded.

According to Michel Simeon, logistics officer at the organization, a charity event is held annually by the RCSS to benefit the less fortunate. Mr. Melanie's approach to us this time focused on Seychellois families who are less fortunate and vulnerable on Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue.

He. He asked for our assistance in raising funds through this charity fun run. The charity fun run is in keeping with the RCSS's mandate to assist the public in various situations.

We anticipate receiving a lot of donations for this cause. We especially encourage non-perishable items like canned goods, biscuits, etc. You can also donate a gift for children between the ages of 1 and 10.

Gift baskets are also accepted. Additionally, individuals can directly contribute to Absa's "Red Cross Disaster Victims Account" by using account number 1069230.

December 20 has been set as the deadline, according to Mr. Simeon.

But if anyone decides to donate anyway, RCSS would take them from December 26 to December 28, 2022. Participating organizations are encouraged to wear their respective sports apparel on that day at Roche Caiman with company logos.

In addition, a charity box will be available that day for people who would like to donate on the spot. So come and run for charity as a family with your kids!
