In early 2023, we celebrated 10 successful years in business with a relaunch of our site. The new Moving2Canada offers a dynamic, personalized user experience behind the login so that our community can understand and design their own journey to success in Canada, affordably and with confidence.
This is a disruptive product in an industry in need of disruption. In addition to the continued support of our commercial partners, our product development is backed by multiple federal government grants (IRAP and SR&ED) to support innovation. The hired candidate will be expected to integrate quickly and make a significant contribution to product development and conversion.
Primary responsibilities:
• Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for digital products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements, launch, and iteration.
• Identify user needs and improve the user experience to drive conversion, re-engagement, and growth.
• Define what success looks like to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and web development teams on product strategy and vision.
• Gather and review user feedback to determine where to prioritize focus within the product.
• Leverage user research and data analysis to define customer needs and experiences, translate them in clear requirements and iterate rapidly through strategic experiments.
• Work with other departments to launch effective marketing communications plans.
• Conduct market and industry analysis to help us shape our course and support our mission.
• Share insights and results throughout the company.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience as a Digital Product Manager.
• Strong UX fundamentals.
• History of success in developing product strategy.
• Experience scaling products through constant learning, experimentation, and iteration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to tell a story with the data.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for using emerging technology and data to solve unmet and under-served user needs.
• A passion for the newcomer journey.
Bonus points:
• Experience working with Salesforce.
• Experience working with newcomer audiences or subject matters.
• You are a newcomer to Canada, or have experienced living in a different country.
