The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have accused the Federal Government of "systematically" assassinating their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The pro-Biafran organization said it was time for the entire world to speak out against the atrocities committed in the DSS Abuja dungeon against the IPOB leader.

It further stated that the Federal Government had planned to kill Kanu in solitary custody at the DSS. These were contained in a statement released to journalists on Saturday by the group's Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful.
"The Federal Government has deliberately intended to eliminate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is wrongfully incarcerated in DSS solitary confinement," according to the statement." Kanu is battling heart ailments and some mineral deficiencies, which require medical specialists' treatment.
Still, the Federal Government has refused to release him as the courts have ordered and have not granted him access to his physicians.
"Instead, they have resorted to patronizing roadside pharmacies for his drug, which we consider a systematic and progressive lowering of his life and final elimination approach.
"A few days ago, IPOB legal team members and Kanu's brother visited him in DSS custody. He informed them that DSS agents had not given him his prescription medications for nine days or more.

Furthermore, the DSS has not given him food for several days, stating that they do not have enough money to cover his food and drugs. What nonsense!
"We, the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra, demand the Federal Government free Kanu immediately if they can't afford his medications and food.
"IPOB is more than capable of offering our leader the best medical services in the world and can provide him any meal of his choice, but it is their job to ensure that he feeds well with good medical treatment because they have illegally kept him in prison.
If anything unpleasant occurs to him, IPOB will not take it lightly. They will not be able to break him down."In IPOB, we view the DSS's latest activities as a scheme to systematically reduce and finally kill Kanu by starving him of his drugs and food.
But we want to tell the Nigerian government and everyone who cares about Nigeria that if anything terrible happens to Kanu, IPOB and Biafrans will conduct continuous warfare against the Nigerian state.
"This is not a threat, but a commitment that generations of Biafrans must keep even after the Biafra Nation has been restored. Therefore, we have repeatedly urged Mallam Abubakar Malami and his associates to free Kanu as ordered by courts of competent jurisdiction.
Furthermore, the United Nations Working Group instructed the Nigerian government to free Kanu and pay him compensation. Still, Malami, the Fulani cabals, and other greedy politicians have failed to follow the court's rulings.
