Lukehurst receives a promotion to Head of Private Equity at Liberty Specialty Markets

Rachael Lukehurst has been promoted to the newly created position of Head of Private Equity, starting immediately, according to Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM).

She will be in London and report to Amy Gross, Liberty Mutual's global private equity and M&A leader, and Mark Stephenson, LSM's head of business development and market relationships.

Lukehurst will oversee partnerships between LSM and its private equity partners on a global scale in her capacity as head of private equity. She will be able to expand the private equity sector through this position while closely collaborating with customers and brokers to uphold and cultivate enduring relationships.


She will also manage the private equity pipeline to offer quick responses, individualized solutions, and portfolio partnerships to safeguard and enhance the value of personal equity assets.

Lukehurst joined the company in 2007 as a senior underwriter and served as head of revenue transformation for LSM before assuming her new position. She began working for the company as an assistant underwriter. She advanced through numerous business lines through the graduate training program.

In 2006, she started her career in the field by working as an associate loss adjustor for Reynolds Porter Chamberlain.
