Three rifles and a shotgun were stolen in the burglary on Wednesday, between 6.15am and 5.30pm, from a Faranda Road home in Glenfield.
Detectives investigating the burglary say they don’t know how many people were involved at this stage, but have confirmed that ammunition, cash, and two sets of car keys were also stolen alongside the four firearms.
A police spokesperson confirmed the firearms had been safely stored in a safe.

Detectives are searching for those responsible and the stolen firearms.
Anyone with CCTV or dash-cam vision of the area around North West Coastal Highway, Chapman and Chapman Valley roads during the above times is being urged to hand it over to investigators.
