She said: "I find it surprising. Attempt to perform a cesarean section on a 15-year-old girl by someone with no more than a high school diploma.
Eventually, cutting the patient and was unable to continue the procedure, killing both the mother and the child."
She asserts that the activities of quackery in the medical field are a cause for great concern, highlighting that such acts can degrade the honorable profession and that the government will no longer ignore illegal medical practices.
"We will make sure that any arrested offenders are brought to justice and made to face the law; I've just come from the State (CID). We will not accept this nonsense from any of them again, "She continued.
When instances are beyond their scope of understanding, Dr. Oluwatoyin also utilized this means to warn individuals who are constantly massaging to make sure they refer patients to the proper hospitals or clinics for prompt treatment rather than continuing with their unlawful manner.
Dr. Ngowari Torunana, the Director of Medical Services at the Ministry of Health and the most recent Chairman of the Bayelsa Chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), also spoke.
He called the quack's actions heinous and cruel and noted that the young girl had suffered severe wounds, including cuts to her bladder, rectum, and Vagina.
