Ollie Watkins has selected his top five Premier League strikers of all time.
The Aston Villa striker has been in form himself, netting 11 goals in 19 games in all competition. Watkins revealed Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is someone he idolises and has looked up to throughout his career.
Speaking on TNT Sports, the 27-year-old named Jermaine Defoe, Robin van Persie, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Alan Shearer and Henry in his top five of all time Premier League strikers.
He said: "Number five, I'm going for Jermaine Defoe. I think he was really underrated, scored so many goals but he seems to not be talked about especially as much now so definitely think he needs to be in there.
"Four, I'm going Robin van Persie. Again, not really talked that much about, unbelievable player, left foot, scored so many goals. Again, very underrated. Three, I'm going with van Nistelrooy, the ultimate goal scorer. I used to love watching him, he was like a fox in the box.
"Then Alan Shearer, he set the record. He can't go unnoticed. And then number one, Thierry Henry is someone that I look up to in football, he's someone that I idolise.
"Even though he hasn't got the goal scoring record like Alan Shearer, he's definitely for me, the best. I think best player to have ever played in the Premier League, I'm going to go that far.
“He can dribble, score all sorts of goals, he could do it all. He had that aura about him which was special.”
