Seychelles is located in the Indian Ocean, on the east coast of Africa. The amazing beaches in Seychelles are the top reason people visit this Paradise. It includes abundant sea turtles and underwater filled with colourful life and sparkling turquoise water.

1. Petite Anse, Mahé

Situated on the southwest coast of Mahé is possibly the most beautiful beach in Seychelles. This exquisite beach is both natural and isolated. This spot is good for swimming and snorkelling.

2. Anse Georgette, Praslin

With water in a captivating shade of turquoise, the ocean is extremely inviting. Its soft white sand extends along the shore of this beach. Swimming here is not as safe as on other beaches due to strong currents.

3. Anse La Passe, Silhouette Island

This beach features calm, crystal-clear water. This makes it possible to see everything without the use of a snorkel and mask. There are other fun activities like biking, fishing and sailing located close to the resort. 

This place is known for its delicious food as they have multiple restaurants. There lie a coral reef 200 meters offshore.

4. Anse Major, Mahé

This wonderful place is situated on the northwest coast of Mahé. It can only be reached by boat or foot. There is no road leading here. The ocean here is calm and a nice spot for an enjoyable swim.

There are no amenities here, so ensure to come with snacks and water.

5. Anse Intendance, Mahé

The Anse Intendance is beautiful and serene. You will experience excellent surfing here as there is no coral reef. The ocean has current and rough waves making swimming difficult. It is not the best Island beach option for families.

6. Anse Source d'Argent, La Digue

This unique spot became famous through advertising campaigns and films. A snorkel and mask is not needed here as the water is clear, shallow and calm. It is suggested to wear water shoes as there is sharp coral.

7. Anse Lazio, Praslin

Anse Lazio, Praslin is covered by lush and tall palm trees and takamaka, providing shade from the sun. It is among the top beaches in Praslin. It is one of the cleanest beaches on the Island.

This may be one of the most interesting diving spots to visit for both a family holiday and a romantic beach vacation.

8. Anse Louis, Mahé

Anse Louis, Mahé is a holiday resort like most Seychelles beaches. It is set in a little, sheltered bay. Its north side is good for surfing while the south end is good for lounging and swimming.

This lovely clean beach does not have a crowd.

9. West Beach, Bird Island

This beach is one of the best beaches in Seychelles. I watch the sunset. This remote beach is filled with pearly sand. This area is so quiet that turtles wander and lay their eggs.

10. Grand Anse, La Figure

This picture-perfect beach is free from crowds. It is an amazing place to spend a day under the sun. The sand is so soft that it feels like you are walking through powder. The length of this beach is the longest in La Digue.

11. Beau Vallon Bay, Mahé

It is among the largest beaches in Mahé. It comprises restaurants, beach hotels and other shops. It's safe to swim here and comprises lovely beach activities. 

12. Anse Forbans, Mahé

This is definitely a place to relax. This beach is calm and shallow with turquoise water. This is a nice place for chilling, romantics and families.

13. Anse St. Sauveur, Praslin

This is a small beach about 600 meters long located on Praslin's south coast. Its shade-giving trees make it well appreciated. The water here is cool, calm and shallow, making the beach family-friendly.

14. Anse Volbert, Praslin

This is the longest and most popular on Praslin. It is a beautiful spot for beachgoers. It includes scuba diving, sailing, fishing and windsurfing.

15. Anse Cocos, La Digue

Visiting La Digue island, this beach is among the best places to go. The sand on this beach island is shimmering white, and the water is so blue. Visiting Anse Cocos requires a 30-minute walk. It is a very nice option for those looking for isolation, and it does not have a crowd.

16. Anse Marron, La Digue

This beach is a masterpiece in La Digue. It is well hidden and hard to find. It is not the best place to bring kids. However, it is a great place for vacation. It is advisable to hire a guide, so you don't get lost.
